On January 1, MilkBoy Recording purchased Larry Gold's "The Studio" and moved into center city, taking over studio operations from the legendary producer. Larry remains in his own suite and continues his work as a first-call string arranger and composer. The move amounts to a merger of The Studio's and MilkBoy Recording's impressive gear and client lists. The renamed "MilkBoy the Studio" boasts a George Augspurger-designed studio centered around an SSL 4000 console, and the best vintage mic collection in Philadelphia.
